A step by step guide to obtain the power you always desired, or an account of a failed attempt.
Begin.
Bboy Sion from Japan. Even though I hate when people dance with a helmet on, I can’t deny he is so strong.
Not a full powermove clip but he is the one that inspired me to focus alot of my bboying on power. His flexibility power is dopeeee.
My fucking hero. After more then 10 years still killing it and doing new crazy stuff.
My man, Benny Kimoto, of the Flying steps killing it on all types of terrain. It is crazy how he still gets better as he ages. Real Respect.
Since we are on the topic of one handed airflares…oh pocket seems to have them too now haha nutsssss. @4:10 for those who really don’t want to wait.
On other note, love Morning of Owl. One of my favorite korean crews. Always keeping it fresh and new while portraying a message.
Look at that mutha f…ing speed and power. Bboy C-lil is a monsterr!
My crew mate, Manji. Floor Obsession Crew. This kid is nastyyyyyyy!
This guy is stronggggg

gr-ramen-noodles: hey is it possible to help me mastering a windmill? im doin this show at school an i wanna suprise everyone tht i can do it
yea, definitely. I guess you can send me a clip of you doing your windmill and I can give you some tips to master it. Or maybe if I have time, I’ll make a tutorial :)

ddouglasnguyen: for that 1.5 suicide, ive seen it also called a flying missle. bboy luigi does them alot
oh you are talking about a flying missle, or torpedo. Alot of people do that move but that is from the windmill off the back and then they double it. I am actually windmilling up to my hand and then throwing the rest of the spin. Looks really similiar but not quite the samee haha
I was actually suppose to get this gig from howcast to teach. Their reason for dropping me from the project was that they found someone more “reputable”. I don’t deny kid glyde is more known, famous, and does so much for the community but in this case this is for a bboy tutorial. From watching the tutorials, some were okay and some were poorly executed (howcast’s editing/style) and doesn’t do him justice, but I do feel I would’ve been able to teach a couple moves way better.
I understand both sides of the arguments, and people are inclined to their opinion. If someone thinks someone isn’t good, that is fine. You aren’t in the dance to be loved by everyone. The second argument is showing that people should either phrase what they say in a better way and one video can’t do judgement for the whole person.
I wrote this. Thought I would share.
So I’m in this group on facebook which has a bunch of dancers in it from a little club last year in high school. I get a notification and I see this. People saying that Bboy Kid Glyde isn’t good.
….WTF?! YOU SERIOUS?!
I took it kind’ve easy on them but wtf Kid Glyde has done more for the Bboy community on the East Coast than anyone else that I know. He is the leader of Dynamic Rockers, one of the best crews in NY and has been in Red Bull BC One. His crew member is Bboy Gravity. (A little bit more well known across the nation.)
But wtf that is the problem with bboys nowadays. No respect for our art. All they want is to do tricks and become famous. That is not what our art form is about. What ever happened to just dancing to good music and having fun? Now all there is are people that can do airchairs, flares, and windmills and that is it. THAT IS NOT A BBOY! That is a breakdancer. A whack ass tricker.
Do some research, learn about the history of our dance. These new cats are just exploiting it.

anjelicasolon-deactivated201112: you bboy? :) anyway, i just shared a video in my blog, got it from youtube. try to check it out :)
oo milky vs lil demon. Great battle, definitely two different generations at it. You dance as well?
windmill -> 1 hand turtle -> 1.5 suicide
New move?
I might not be the first to do it, but I don’t remember seeing someone do it like me
Another beast, Yujeen from Reckless Crew
